I was born in 1946 and grew up in Liberec city, northern part of Czech Republic. My
amateur radio callsign was OK1JHK, which I have held since 1968. Until that, I have
been the listener as OK-25257. From March 2001 I have this new callsign OK1NU.
My job:
I have been working in the electronic branch since 1967. Over 20 years I've worked
as a bureau counter equipments serviceman, I am manager of a small company since
1989. Scope of activity is fire and security systems. Now am pensioner!!!
My RIGs and working conditions:
I use a YAESU TCVR FT 1000D for HF with HARRIS linear amplifier, running about 750
W output into 3 element beam made by Step IR. Excelent beam!! For 80 mtrs I use a
single element DELTA LOOP. Special for 30m and 40m upgrade of SteppIR. Second
radio is FLEX5000A.
My QTH:
City of Liberec is know to be a green and beautiful place beeing also a regional City
since the year 2000. The place is surrounded by nice mountains and colorful
