The roof sketch:
Here is shown a placement of the antenna holders
on the roof of the building. Light blue arcs are showing the directions of
views photos, which
you can see here also. Antenna holders (except No.6) are attached to the roof construction
(the elevator room), which is almost 3.5m higher then roof. The top of the roof construction
is 41m above the ground. The ground is 297m above the sea level.
Legend:
Existing antenna holder No.1 -
It is equipped with remote-controlled antenna rotator mechanism.
Total height including antenna rotator is 2.5m above the roof construction.
Additional statically mounted antennas can be placed as high as 1.5m.
Existing antenna holder No.2 -
Total height was 3.5m above the roof construction, but it had to be cutted to 2m due
to the very complicated accessability of the antenna on this holder. Additional
antennas can be placed as high as 1m in order to do not harm the near field of the
HF antenna on the top.
Potential place for antenna holder No.3 -
There was an antenna holder but it had to be removed from safety reasons during
the roof reconstruction.
Potential place for antenna holder No.4 -
Here could be only small holder with small antenna or compact panel antenna
directly mounted on the wall. This place can be used for efficent local coverage
of our block of buildings (e.g. WiFi access point).
Potential place for antenna holder No.5 -
Usage of this place is limited by long cable distance and proximity of TV antennas
for distribution inside the building. This place would enable the absolutly
unobstructed south view for a microwave link.
Existing antenna holder No.6 -
It is placed on the balcony in 5th floor roughly in the middle of the west wall
of the building. It is 16m above ground. Holder leads 2.5m horizontally front of
the wall. Usage of this holder is limited by proximity of TV receivers.
