USB stands for Universal Serial Bus; it is a new generation bus technology which supports multiple devices (up to 127) in a single bus, plug and play, hot plugin and two speeds, 12 and 1.5 Mbps. USB is ideal for digital cameras, scanners, audio systems, keyboards, mice, etc. Linux does not come with a USB driver, so an add-on the Universial USB Driver is compiled in. Currently Linux does not come with USB drivers. To solve this problem we are shipping with the Linux Universal USB driver.
