This server fixes a problem brought about by using some of the latest
shared libraries (in particular GLIBC revisions V..X).

At this point, the system is quite stable with these [new and improved]
packages:
	binutils-2.8.1.0.18 *D*
	gcc                 *O*
	glibc               *X*

Note: if you install these packages, you should install them all.  It
is also always wise to reboot after updating GLIBC.
