For DR3, we are considering using the compiler egcs for everything.

This directory contains a rebuild of the DR3alpha4 components.  These
pieces have been compiled with egcs -O6, except for a couple files in the
linux server which needed -O2 (free_area_pager.c and inode_pager.c)

There are no actual source changes to these components since the last
wip.  Thanks to Jack Howarth for building these pieces.
